With ever changing and evolving threat levels; knives, blunt objects and spikes are becoming a concern as mission characteristics are becoming more asymmetric. When protecting our correctional officers, police officers and riot teams we must make sure they are protected from weapons capable of puncturing the body including, knives, blunt objects and improvised sharp objects.

MyForm have designed a stab proof plate to be added to its vests. vests that are lightweight, flexible and offer stab protection.

These stab proof vests come in three different NIJ standard protection levels.

 

The different levels of stab resistant protection are based upon the amount of force delivered in a strike.

                Energy: E1 = 24 joules, E2 = 36 joules

                Velocity: E1 = 5 m/sec, E2 = 6.2 m/sec

                Maximum Penetration: E1 = KR1 7mm, E1 = KR1 20mm SP1=0mm 

                   

KR2SP2: vests protect against medium impact 

                 Energy: E1 = 33 joules, E2 = 50 oules

                Velocity: E1 = 5.9 m/sec, E2 = 7.3 m/sec

                Total Missile Mass: 1.9kg

                Maximum Penetration: E1 = KR1 7mm, E1 = KR1 20mm SP1=0mm
